How It All Started
From marine vinyl to walkable, waterproof roof decks
Back in the early 1970s, two general contractors in Canada’s Okanagan Valley noticed how well the marine vinyl in their fishing boat held up to the elements. They realized that same waterproof durability could work on residential decks. That idea launched an entirely new category: walkable roofing membranes.
We’ve continued to lead the industry by investing in product testing, third-party quality control, and installation standards—all to make sure our customers get the performance they expect.
